Week in Dixon at Piper's Peace

We had an awesome week at my grandparents house in Dixon. As always, they make it a very special time when we go there.  It was wonderful to visit, eat fried chicken and Caesar salad, go for tractor rides and of course get lots of hugs and kisses.

Grandpa Piper and Maddox, building a, "house"!

Grandma had picked up 2 lawn mowers for the kids and they absolutely LOVED them. They spent a significant amount of time mowing the grass there.

Playing in their cousins awesome Barbie Jeep! Maddox was pretending it was black and green!

Piper pushing her pretend doll around at Uncle Marks house.

This one is kind of blurry but I thought it was sweet... Maddox smelling grandmas flowers.

Maddox and uncle Mark put some new boards in the floor of the tree house.  Maddox is trying to pull out some nails.

Can you see us in the trees?

Family golf cart ride to search for deer!

So glad to have Robert back with us... He drove us to Dixon, drove back home, worked all week then came and picked us up the following weekend.

Maddox is waiting for someone to carry him thru the sand so his feet don't get dirty... Little stinker.
Grandpa helping Maddox put batteries in the race car.

Mowing the courtyard. Someone has to do it!

Grandma Piper and little Piper...  Grandma walks about 4 miles every single day. She is amazing!

Why yes, I am the cutest thing ever!

And guess who came for a surprise visit?! My wonderful mother flew in for a few days... She took a couple days off her busy schedule of casting the TV show, "The Glades", to come spend time with all of us.

Nena and grandpa!

WE FOUND SOME DEER! Maddox named them, "Maddox & Piper".

Piper is loving the watermelon!

At the Lost Nations water tower, where we go to get cell service.

Beautiful place at Lost Nations

Waiting for mom to go for a ride!

This is the, "Bubbling Brooke", Behind my grandparents house. Maddox and I had a wonderful time building a dam here... It was so special for me to be able to play with him in the same creek that my mother and I both grew up playing in. We had a wonderful time.

Another view of the creek.

The Pipers, we love you so much! Thank you for a wonderful week at your house! Xoxo

Getting ready to go home after a wonderful week!
