Vovo's visit and Cedar Point

Dad came and spent a whole we week with us and we had a wonderful time! We played, rode bikes, went for walks, went to the park and to the pool, saw the trains and fountains, ate cake pops, snuggled, went to Cedar Point... We had a blast and we were so sad for our week to end! But we can't wait to be down in West Palm Beach soon to meet Cousin Ty, who was delivered while Vovo was here!

At the airport watching Vovo arrive!

Snuggle time! Piper took to dad right away, she was more then happy to sit on his lab and let him hold her. It was very sweet.
We took a little ride on the trolley at Easton... Dream come true for Madball!
Yes, Vovo... You've got some stubble!
Piper eating goldfish out of Madballs hat at cedar point!
Mustang kinda girl! Get ready dad... I like fast cars!
Piper rode this little ride and totally enjoyed herself. It was very cute.
Robert took Maddox on a mini coaster... You'd think he was going to have to walk thru by the expression on his face!
He prefers being locked up to riding a coaster. That's our boy!
Knocked out! Thanks Vovo... A quick ride on the train and both of them slept soundly for about an hour. Good think we brought Pinky and the Bobbie with us.
Robert and I rode roller coasters all day, thanks to dad. I was trying to point to the one in the back of the picture... It's bigger then it looks.
And the kids and Vovo rode this... Over and over and over...
Cedar Point is actually the only park that had dinosaurs alive! Crazy! Piper, who fears nothing, was constantly trying to climb under the fence and say hi.
Maddox was pretty stoked about "train tracks" and probably would've been content to sit and watch the people ride by all day long.
Maddox, Piper and Vovo saw the stork fly by... On his way to deliver cousin Ty to Auntie Jenni and Uncle Chrissy! We got a call that afternoon that little Ty was on his way!

Piper's first fingernail painting... Reminded me of when I used to paint Marlie's every week!
Madball did this puzzle with a little help from Vovo!
Got my blankie, got Blue, my thumb and I got my Vovo... Life is good!

Sweet Summer Fun 2013

An evening at Creekside, walking in the park after getting some pizza at Massey's.
Piper is checking out the ducks.
Ant watching... We are hardcore bug and worm watchers. If the kids see a bug or worm, they get off their bikes immediately and get as close as possible to watch it.
And horse watchers too... Our horse friends have been in the back pasture lately so we don't get to feed them. Hopefully they get to come to the front pasture soon!
Playing the K-day-day in the bucket... In our underwear. Our boy is totally potty trained!
Enjoying a milk bottle with dad after a long hard day of playing!
Our playgroup... They've been together since they were 2 months old. New additions keep arriving!
Piper and I babysat baby Susie last week for a little bit... Piper is doing a poop check.
Kisses! Piper was enjoying having a real baby around to play with!
The kids wanted to play in the rain... They lasted about 3 minutes!
On our way to a dress up birthday party for Noelle! Maddox was sporting his dads jacket and shorts and Piper was a princess of course... Sleeping Beauty!
Picnic on the patio with all of our neighbor girls. We are so blessed with some really wonderful young ladies that are very sweet to our kids.

Week in Dixon at Piper's Peace

We had an awesome week at my grandparents house in Dixon. As always, they make it a very special time when we go there.  It was wonderful to visit, eat fried chicken and Caesar salad, go for tractor rides and of course get lots of hugs and kisses.

Grandpa Piper and Maddox, building a, "house"!

Grandma had picked up 2 lawn mowers for the kids and they absolutely LOVED them. They spent a significant amount of time mowing the grass there.

Playing in their cousins awesome Barbie Jeep! Maddox was pretending it was black and green!

Piper pushing her pretend doll around at Uncle Marks house.

This one is kind of blurry but I thought it was sweet... Maddox smelling grandmas flowers.

Maddox and uncle Mark put some new boards in the floor of the tree house.  Maddox is trying to pull out some nails.

Can you see us in the trees?

Family golf cart ride to search for deer!

So glad to have Robert back with us... He drove us to Dixon, drove back home, worked all week then came and picked us up the following weekend.

Maddox is waiting for someone to carry him thru the sand so his feet don't get dirty... Little stinker.
Grandpa helping Maddox put batteries in the race car.

Mowing the courtyard. Someone has to do it!

Grandma Piper and little Piper...  Grandma walks about 4 miles every single day. She is amazing!

Why yes, I am the cutest thing ever!

And guess who came for a surprise visit?! My wonderful mother flew in for a few days... She took a couple days off her busy schedule of casting the TV show, "The Glades", to come spend time with all of us.

Nena and grandpa!

WE FOUND SOME DEER! Maddox named them, "Maddox & Piper".

Piper is loving the watermelon!

At the Lost Nations water tower, where we go to get cell service.

Beautiful place at Lost Nations

Waiting for mom to go for a ride!

This is the, "Bubbling Brooke", Behind my grandparents house. Maddox and I had a wonderful time building a dam here... It was so special for me to be able to play with him in the same creek that my mother and I both grew up playing in. We had a wonderful time.

Another view of the creek.

The Pipers, we love you so much! Thank you for a wonderful week at your house! Xoxo

Getting ready to go home after a wonderful week!
